Felipe Garcia is a New Yorker who delivers results. He is an energy executive, engineer, and candidate for Congress in New York’s 14th District, running to bring accountable, hands-on leadership to the Bronx and Queens.
Felipe has built his career solving real problems at scale. He led energy and infrastructure operations across more than 8 million square feet of healthcare facilities in New York City, driving down costs, improving system performance, and delivering nationally recognized projects in efficiency and decarbonization. Today, as Director of Energy Management and Implementation at Ross Energy Consulting, he leads major workforce development and energy initiatives in partnership with NYSERDA, helping train the next generation while improving building performance across the region.
He also serves as President of the Association of Energy Engineers New York City Chapter, where he is focused on opening doors for young professionals and strengthening New York’s energy workforce.
Felipe’s expertise spans building systems, energy compliance, and capital planning, including Local Law 97 implementation and large-scale decarbonization strategy. But his focus is simple: execution. He believes government should operate with the same discipline as the systems he has managed, measurable outcomes, accountability, and no excuses.
Born, raised and still residing in the Hunts Point area of The Bronx, Felipe is of Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage and understands firsthand the challenges facing working families. His campaign is centered on public safety, economic opportunity, and building clear pathways to good-paying careers. He is running to deliver real solutions, restore trust in leadership, and make sure the Bronx and Queens are not just represented, but prioritized.
